Can you hide a member?

Can you create a hidden member, i.e. someone who can audit content but not be seen by the other members of the group? I am the site owner, but 2 of our site members would like to be able to keep an eye on the conversations. A little "Big Brother-ish" but they want to users to speak freely while at the same time being able to get a full picture of the site usage and content.
Google Calendar and post editing

Can I add Google Calendar to my group site? It's way easier for people to view then just noting events and dates in discussion posts.
And is it possible to edit a post after it's been published other than deleting and re-typing?
