formatting in All of The Pool

I just tried to create a table wiki with 7 columns of information in each row. After some minor issues (inability to manually adjust the width of the columns, wiki briefly froze up and gave me an error message, etc), I finally got it created and posted it - only for the wiki to totally delete all the columns and line breaks and post the material as a paragraph. Anybody have any tips on how to solve that?
