Google Calendar and post editing
in Question & Answer , last reply by Jason R at December 22 2008. Tagged calendar discussion posting
Can I add Google Calendar to my group site? It's way easier for people to view then just noting events and dates in discussion posts.
And is it possible to edit a post after it's been published other than deleting and re-typing?
Remove the thick border from iframes
in Question & Answer , last reply by Luke (GroupSwim) at December 1 2008. Tagged discussion iframe appearance
I'm creating a discussion (or wiki) with a survey form created in Google Docs. The embedding of an iframe is very straightforward, however it appears that Groupswim adds a deep chisel-style border around the outside. It's definitely not part of the HTML, as the same doesn't occur on my own test pages.
I'd like the survey and future content to appear more organic, can you recommend a way to get rid of this border? Here's an example:
Embed an RSS feed into a discussion or wiki
in Tips & Tricks , by Jason R October 1 2008. Tagged rss widget discussion
It is easy.
First you need to get the HTML script from whatever feed reader you want to use. I'm using Feedburner in this case. You enter the RSS feed you want into the widget you want or write your own and it should generate some HTML script for you to copy.
When you write or edit a discussion or wiki, you need to enter the snippet of code into the HTML. The HTML editor button is here:

How do I delete a thread?
in Question & Answer , last reply by Luke (GroupSwim) at September 24 2007. Tagged discussion delete feature
I created a new post but the formatting didn't turn out the way I wanted to. I'd like to delete it now. How do I do that?
