About "authority"

When you post content to this site, we track how other people feel about it. If others give your post a thumbs-up, reply to it, or add it to their watchlist, it is means they are interested in it.

We look at what content you've gotten good feedback about, and look at what tags were applied to it. If you consistently get really strong interest in your posts about certain subjects, we consider you an authority on those subjects.
