Hello,

When we move to the next version of GroupSwim on 11/15/07 at 4am PST, your main group will become a group like the other groups in your community.  In order to check or change the settings, please follow the following steps:

1. Click on new group which will now be called "General Discussion"

2. Click on "Group Settings" to change the settings associated with this group

3. Click on "Privacy and access permissions" to change the characteristics of the group.

4.  Select one of the following options:

Private group means the group will be invite only.  A member can request to join the group, but only a manager of the group can approve

Public group means any community member can join, but they can choose whether to join or not.

Public (auto-join) means everyone who is a community member or guests that are browsing a public site will automatically be a member of this group

Customer means you can tune the settings however you want

5. Click on this link to change the "Thumbnail image" for this group to give it some personality
